About the role:
The Onyx IT Group is seeking a proven Managed Security Services Provider Account Manager responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities with new and existing customers while maintaining relationships with current customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in targeting customers in multiple industries and can produce results within the first 30 days with qualified leads.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience, IT preferred
- Demonstrated success in creating targeted sales campaigns, presenting proposals, negotiating, securing business, onboarding customers, and partnering with operational teams to create lasting business relationships.
- Proven portfolio and record of growing new technology business in the target verticals.
- Intimate knowledge of managed services
Major Responsibilities:
- Understand the Onyx portfolio of services.
- Understand the business drivers and economics that lead to successful sales.
- Developing a new client base and executing against success metrics.
- Developing targeted sales campaigns.
- Effective prospecting, networking, solution selling, and closing.
- Forecasting, attaining quotas, and building a sustainable book of business.
- Understanding customer trends and how they will impact Onyx’s selling approach.
- Increasing Onyx’s client base and geographic reach, capitalizing on our nationwide presence.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience presenting to CEO/CIO/COO, etc.
